Welcome to Culture of Abuse Magazine on tumblr - Culture of Abuse Magazine is a Boston based magazine that deals with various forms of abuse and violence, and examines how each type of abuse intersects, in both our personal lives, and in our culture in general. The magazine serves as a nationwide resource including assistance & referrals, current topics, trends and decisions, and I strongly encourage your feedback and input.

Culture of Abuse Magazine is for everyone - professionals of all types, survivors, activists and helpers, and everyone in between. A key element in reducing the number of abusers and predators is to keep the general public informed. These are the people who sit on our juries, shy away from a friend, neighbor or coworker, and often believe the many myths about abuse. To that end, I hope you'll all participate in some way. There you will find descriptions of various types of abuse, links to specific information and resources, a reading list, and a BE HEARD section to submit articles and personal stories.
